Projects
The Enlightenment Tourist is an evolving creative project exploring the world's many ways of seeing, believing, and making meaning.
It began as a series of books, and two volumes are now complete, with more in progress. But the journey doesn't have to stay on the page. Raven in the Glade explores the experience of Druidry through art, place, and story, while the Enlightenment Tourist Podcast takes the journey directly to the people who inhabit different traditions and worldviews.
And there is plenty more to explore. Future projects may take the form of pilgrimages, field journeys, conversations, experiments, and whatever other ways of experiencing a worldview might emerge along the way.
The destination isn't a particular belief. The destination is understanding.
The Projects
Volume I: Postapologetic

Volume I explores the world after Faith deconstruction.
This volume covers issues of the apologetics that I used to use as a Christian and how to reexamine the arguments that once seemed indubitable. It is written primarily for Christians who have questioned their faith and are looking for new possible ways to rebuild a worldview—wherever that may lead.
Volume II - IV (In Progress)

Volumes two through four are explorations of philosophy, spirituality, and the psychology of exploring outside of the American mainstream.
Volume V: Raven in the Glade

Volume V is an art project with a book to document the exploration. It is the culmination of a Druidic path and the inspiration that came from it. While it sits at volume V, it is the first completed book in these volumes.
Raven in the Glade is a series of short essays, poems, photos and artworks that express the path of ancient Celtic and nature-based spirituality. It was the first real test of the Enlightenment Tourist project.
